FBLA attended the Fall Leadership Conference yesterday and this morning! Members had the opportunity to take in workshops, speakers, and a career fair. They ended their conference with a chapter meal!





The Junior and Kindergarten Comet Connection buddies enjoyed the gorgeous weather together yesterday at Papa's Pumpkin Patch! They were a great group of kids to take on an adventure!










Congratulations to Otto for making to 100 Accelerated Reader points already this school year! He earned a ticket to the spring AR field trip!

We had our first team competition this year during our Underwood Way Assembly. Students are split into teams and will compete against each other for multiple activities this year. Our very first one was "mummy" wrap. The Vikings, Steelers, and Cowboys were our top teams!

FFA had a wonderful time this weekend growing as leaders and giving back to others! Members participated in leadership activities and joined a statewide community service project to support people experiencing homelessness by creating Kind Kits filled with essential items. We’re proud of our members’ hard work and big hearts!






FFA is off and running, or shall we say listening, learning, and leading! 10 members in all, one is on her way after a volleyball tourney, are attending Leadership Conference in Bismarck this weekend!

The Junior and Kindergarten classes met their Comet Connection buddies today! In celebration of Johnny Appleseed Day, they worked together on a neat hanging apple craft.





Advanced Biology students finished their bone lab and compared the results of bones soaked in vinegar with those soaked in bleach. Some had predicted the results but were very surprised when they compared the bone marrow from each trial.

Juniors in chemistry were studying spectrums of salts when they burned. Several spectrums did not match the flame color.





7th graders in the Life Skills class enjoyed their Fun with Food Friday!Today they taste tested 3 different undefined brands of 6 different foods! They ranked them from worst to best! Surprisingly, name brand was not always their favorite! Next steps, price per serving and deciding if the cost of name brand is worth added expense!







We have been having a lot of fun while learning about friendships and learning! Here is what the elementary class have been up to during the whole class guidance lessons!

UHS 8th grade took part in an Eco learning day at the Audubon Refuge yesterday. They spent the day learning about watersheds, wetlands, rangeland, soil, and woodlands. Thanks to the individuals who provided this opportunity to our students!
