No school or activities for Wednesday, April 13th. Our make-up day will be Monday, April 18th. In town busing ends this week as scheduled. Final decision on whether school will be in session on Thursday will be made tomorrow afternoon.

4th graders have been learning about ND Careers as part of their ND studies class. It has been a lot of fun learning from our class' parents!
Due to the forecast of a Blizzard Warning beginning tomorrow at 7 am, we will not be having school or any school activities tomorrow - April 12. Monday, April 18th is a storm make-up day on our calendar. The elementary concert that had been scheduled for April 12 will be moved to May 5th--1:30 pm - 2:45 pm.

Some of the 9th English students back from music festival created rafts today. They just read about how Odysseus made a raft in The Odyssey to get off Calypso's island.

Today kicks off Financial Literacy Month!
Mrs. Jangula's Financial Literacy class will be completing different activities throughout the month of April to promote financial literacy!
Started off the month with a "Money Tree" of a "Thousand Reasons Why Financial Literacy Matters".
Good morning! Grades K-6 were able to participate in the Bismarck Larks reading program in March. Now, they are able to nominate a teacher for Larks Teacher of the Year! Flyers are being sent home with more information on how to nominate your student's favorite teacher!
Tonight’s K-3 concert will be on Facebook Live ! Tune in to see all the young farmers show off their singing and instrumental talents!
The Underwood School Board is beginning the search for our new Superintendent. As part of that process, they would like to invite you to take part in a survey to get a better understanding of the leadership qualities that our staff, students, and community are looking for.

National Doctor's Day was this week, so our final guest readers for Reading Month were Kellie Weisenburger and Erika Levey from the Underwood Clinic! They shared a couple stories and brought a couple tools of the trade to show everyone. Thank you, ladies!
