Unfortunately, this year's Velva Invitational BBB tournament has been canceled. We are working on trying to pick up a few more games to make up for losing the tournament. please spread the word and be safe.
Who has been out and about making the best of this wild winter weather? We have seen a few of you having fun and enjoying the time.
Here is a quick school update for next week!
Due to recent weather events 7-12 grade students will have a normal week of school/ classes next week Dec. 19-21, regardless of semester exemption. ( All students need to attend school M-W for full days). 7-12 Christmas concert has been moved to Wednesday, Dec. 21st @ 2pm. It will be streamed on the school's Facebook page too. 7-12 students not in band or choir are expected to attend the concert.
Elementary will have school M- W as planned for full days also. Classroom holiday parties will continue as teachers have planned.
We really appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and cooperation this week and into next. Additionally, we are eager to see everyone on Monday morning!

The BHS Dance Competition scheduled for tomorrow (12-17) has been POSTPONED. A makeup date has not been set yet, but are looking at possibly the end of December. When we find out, we will pass the information on.
The JH GBB game that was scheduled for tomorrow (12-17) in Underwood has been POSTPONED. The game will be played Tuesday (12-20) starting at 4:00. The location has also been changed to Beulah's Middle School.
The Boy's Basketball tournament in Velva has been rescheduled with the 1st round starting tomorrow (12-17) Central McLean plays the first game starting at 1:00. The 2nd round is scheduled to be played on Tuesday and the 3rd round is TBD.
Unfortunately, Central McLean already has a game scheduled Tuesday. As a result, we will be only playing the first round of the tournament.
To try making up for losing games, we have added TGU to the schedule. This game is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 18 in Towner.
Due to blizzard conditions and no school, the BBB tournament in Velva is postponed! We appreciate everyone's patience as we are considering ALL options for rescheduling. We will update everyone as soon as we know.

The GBB game against Shiloh has been rescheduled to January 16th @ Turtle Lake. JV will start at 5:30 with Varsity to follow.

Underwood will start 2 hours late on Thursday, buses where possible. No breakfast and no AM preK. Semester exams moved to Friday.

Tomorrow's JH, JV & Varsity Girl's Basketball game against Shiloh has been POSTPONED until Friday (12-16-22)
JH will start at 4:00 PM and play 6 quarters.
JV will follow and start at approximately 5:45 with Varsity to follow.
