Today 5th graders had the pleasure of having Mr. Finneman visit their classroom during history! They tried to stump him, but he knew the answers to their questions It is fun to have former teachers and community members join in on our classes and connect with our students!

Lots of chicks hatched this year in 2nd grade! The bonus this "chick season" was that the 5th grade got to enjoy the chicks too! They missed out on holding them due to Covid. It was a fun way to end the week!

The kindergartners celebrated all passing their sight words with a “Sight Word Slumber Party”. They had their PJs, blankets, stuffies, and flashlights for the special day. They used flashlights to shine a light on sight words stuck to the ceiling. They had to read the words and then use them in a sentence! They also got to see how bread is made (using a bread machine) and taste it as an ending to two books they worked with this week.
