4th grade had fun working with the KUBO robots in Library today!
The UPS Library and Comet Club are hosting a Game Night in the Commons for grades 7-12 on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM! Games were purchased through a grant from the ND State Library. Pizza is being graciously provided by Grimsley's, and the concession stand will be open! Students - bring your "A" game!

Yesterday was national signing day and our very own Anna Skachenko signed her letter of intent to compete for Northern State University for their track and field team! Congratulations Anna! We are so proud of you!
Family Game Event for PreK-6 students and parents/siblings/caregivers on Wednesday, November 29th from 3:15-4:15 in the Commons.
The FBLA Chapter is holding a Cereal Drive November 13th - 17th! Each classroom will be collecting boxes of cereal. Class with the most at the end of the week will win a treat from the FBLA Chapter! FBLA will be donating all the cereal to the Comet Closet for families in need.

9th and 10th grade attended a career fair in Minot today. Lots of opportunities for the future!
The 6th grade student made molecules out of clay in class! This was a very fun lab!
The kindergartners had a blast celebrating the 50th day of school by learning about life back in the 1950s. Their day ended with root beer floats, "cheeseburgers", and a sock hop!🥤🍔🎵🎶
Congratulations to our students who represented Underwood in the Northwest Music festival in Minot this weekend! They rehearsed with guest conductors and performed some wonderful concerts.
Regional Volleyball kicks off today!
The school will be busy, but DISMISSAL WILL TAKE PLACE AS USUAL. If you pick elementary students up they will exit the elementary doors as usual and bus kids will exit through the front as usual.

Mrs. Jangula's Financial Literacy class has been learning about credit and recently discussed mortgages. Today they finished their Buying a House Project and had to figure out everything from a down payment to closing costs. Then they had to furnish their house within a budget!

Students in grades Preschool through 7 were given care bags donated by Northland Health Center that had essentials to equip them and their families for the upcoming flu season. Thank you Northland Health Center!
