Friday Night Lights in Underwood
Friday Night Lights in Underwood
Thank you Underwood students, staff, and community. Our lights shine bright because of you. More pics coming after dark.
Congratulations to our elementary Readers of the Week who earned the most AR points: Kinnsie H., Sam W., Ryker W., Kylar H., and Mason S. Awesome work! Keep reading, and don't forget to check out the ebooks available on the library's web page.
Underwood Public School will be joining in with other schools to turn on the football lights. The lights will be on from 7:00 to 9:30 PM tonight, April 3rd as a way to honor our students, staff, and community members in this time of distance learning while our school buildings are closed due to COVID-19 concerns.
These lights are a symbol of hope and an assurance that our students are in our hearts and on our minds.
Thanks to our friends in the Minnesota High School Activities Association, Des Lacs Burlington School District, and Glenburn Athletics for the idea!
4-2-20 Update. Stay healthy, stay safe and stay warm.
