December was another month that seemed to fly by this year. Students, staff, and parents are all ready for an extended break and spending time with family and friends. I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and some much needed time off. What happened at UHS in December:
-Basketball season is well under way. JH boys will start on Jan. 4th
-HS had their Christmas party 6th and 7th hours on Dec. 17th
-Chemistry class sang their caroling songs
-Seniors and their buddies built gingerbread houses.
-JH/HS had their music concert (Great job Mrs. Frank and students!)
-Semester tests were held on Dec. 20th and 21st
Parent Corner: With the new year come New Year's resolutions. As a parent/student, it is not bad to set some type of resolution(goal) for the second half of the school year. Areas you might want to focus on can include: study time, reading, homework completion, and less screen time. Parents don't be afraid to help your son/daughter in setting up an educational goal for the second half of the year. Goals should be attainable and measurable. Let's all have a great 2022!
